The Ottantatrè was the cheapest four-stroke lightweight in the MV Agusta range, built as a simple two-up runabout around a small 83 cc pushrod single. Performance was modest, which suited buyers of the late 1950s who put reliability first. It was finished in black with an ivory tank and red accents, and about 7,630 were built.
